These are fantastic pictures to help understand TBI! There are so many factors that play into the outcome of these patients. I appreciate how this brings in the paramedic side of things with the RT as we need to all understand every variable at stake with our decisions to ventilate and treat. Highlights for me are the PaCO2 and ETCO2 gap trending confirmation and no more oldschool hyperventilating our patients prophylactically! Cushing triad is a great review for signs of compressed brainstem (irregular breathing, increased BP, bradycardia). HOB is another easy factor that goes into ICP.

Thanks for this!
